After Pumpkin Pandemonium 2019

After closing for this past season we had about 600 corn stalk bundles with five or six ears of corn and almost two dozen large pumpkins remaining at Heritage Farms. All were donated to Purple Brown Farm, a CVNP  conservancy farm, located on Hines Hill Road on the south side of the road about half way between Riverview Road and Olde Eight.

The corn stalks and pumpkins will be used to feed pigs and other critters on the Purple Brown Farm. Sasha Miller and family are growing a resilient and productive food forest, including cider apples, diverse fruits & nuts, veggies, herbs, flowers, mushrooms, and complimentary animal products. Their farm store is open seasonally and you can find them at the Howe Meadow Farmers Market in the summer.
